Our Goal
United Way of Western Maine (UWWM) supports community-based health services that improve well-being and promote independence for individuals and families. Our work focuses on expanding access to essential medical and dental care, substance use treatment, mental health services, violence prevention and recovery, independent living supports, and nutrition programs.
This work is carried out through:

Programs that provide essential medical and dental care for individuals who could not otherwise afford it
